The latest maintenance in Zeta’s official announcements ran October 26, 20:00–20:30 UTC. An announced end time does not prove everything recovered, and no notice does not prove Zeta works for every account. We did not sign in or send messages for this check.

When only one chat room is blocked

In an October 11 notice for its Korean service, Zeta said that in Safe mode, if inappropriate content is detected repeatedly in the same chat room within a short time, that room is limited in stages for up to 24 hours and may finally be reset to its intro. The limit applies per room: other rooms keep working, and the input box shows the remaining time. If you think it was a false detection, the popup has a button to report it.

We could not confirm whether the same rule applies in other regions. Either way, a single blocked room with a countdown is not a Zeta outage.

Quick checks before you wait

Note the exact time and compare it with Zeta’s latest announcement.
Close the app completely and reopen it, or reload the web page.
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Try another chat room or plot. If only one fails, it is probably not an outage.
If nothing changes after an announced end time, contact Zeta support with the time, model and plot name.

Keep your story while you wait

If an outage interrupts a scene, write down the character’s personality, your relationship, world rules and the last scene before you try again. Characters you created on Zeta can be moved with the character migration tool; Zeta chats themselves do not move.

On October 28, 2026 at 15:54 UTC we read Zeta’s public announcement list and the individual maintenance and outage notices, without signing in. We compared them with the global notices we saved on October 27. The October 8 (UTC) model failure and the October 11 chat room limit appeared in Korean notices only. Zeta’s homepage responded, which does not confirm that sign-in or chat works. This page is not a live status monitor.
