Choose your next AI chat by what matters to you.

Start with what you want to change

An app disappearing from a store, a conversation that gets too expensive and a character replying in the wrong language are different problems. Pick the one closest to yours; each guide explains what to check before you create another account.

• A story that keeps its memory: leaving Character.AI mid-story? A new service does not receive your old chats. Bring a short summary of characters, relationships and the last scene.
• Clearer costs: coming from Tipsy Chat because of gems or limits? Compare daily limits and paid extras, not just whether the download is free.
• Replies in your language: characters answering in English? Separate the app’s interface language from the language the character writes in.
• A different reply style: replies got shorter or more filtered? See what users report and what is still unknown before you decide to move.
• Chatting in a browser: no app download? Web versions can have their own sign-in options and limits.
• Coming from PolyBuzz? Check browser access and try a short scene before committing.
• Is the app simply down? Check Emochi or Zeta symptoms first; an outage may not be a reason to switch.

Try one scene before choosing

Give a new chat a simple setup: two adult characters, one setting and a decision to make. For example: “We meet at a late-night café. You recognize the letter I am carrying, but I do not know why. Answer as your character and leave my actions to me.”
